What is DocManager?
DocManager is a smart document organizer and expiry reminder service. It helps you upload important personal and business documents (such as passports, visas, driver's licenses, insurance, and lease deeds), organize them into categories, and configures automated email and WhatsApp alerts to notify you before they expire.
How do I install the mobile app?
DocManager is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You do not need to download it from the Play Store or App Store. Simply open our site in Safari (on iOS) or Chrome (on Android), tap the browser's Share or Menu icon, and select Add to Home Screen.
Reminders & Alerts
How do WhatsApp alerts work?
When you upgrade to a Premium (Personal Pro or Business Pro) plan, you can enable WhatsApp reminders. Alerts are dispatched directly from our official WhatsApp gateway. To prevent spam, you will first verify your phone number via a quick one-time OTP message directly on WhatsApp.
Can I set multiple alerts for a single document?
Yes! Free and Personal Pro users can set 1 days-before alert and 1 on-expiry alert. Business Pro users can set up to 5 custom alerts (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 7, and 1 days before expiry) to keep continuous tabs on business-critical contracts.
Security & Safety
Are my uploaded documents secure?
Absolutely. All documents are stored in secure directories on our servers, and file access is strictly gated. A unique hash maps files to owners, preventing direct URL access or cross-user visibility. Furthermore, user sessions are protected using high-security CSRF tokens and HTTP headers.
Can I share my documents securely?
Yes. Premium plans allow you to generate Secure Share Links. You can set the link to expire in 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, or make it permanent. Anyone with the tokenized link can view the document preview page, but cannot edit your files.

What payment methods do you support?
We process subscription checkout securely via our payment gateway partner, Razorpay. We support Credit/Debit cards, UPI payments, Netbanking, and popular digital wallets.
